It hardly gets any nicer than this!!! Everything was wonderful: the furnishings, the room, our bathroom, the products available (I bought the body lotion afterwards ;)), the bed linen. I could rave on and on! :)) We couldn't make use of the great breakfast on our first morning, but Lou prepared a breakfast pack for us to take to the beach. Lou is a great host and I would have loved to stay longer. We had excellent meals (on the beach at Comporta Café and Gomes - Casa de Vinhos & Petiscos). All unforgettably good!!! The place is really charming. The shops, the restaurants, the beach... Go there!!! The landscape is also incomparable: rice fields and dunes... and lots and lots of storks! :))

We had the opportunity to spend a few days with Lou and Charly at Casa Idalia. A real haven of peace in the middle of the little village of Comporta, our hosts took great care of us: their breakfasts were delicious (and so were their cocktails!) and they gave us great advice on exploring the surrounding area.

I had an incredible stay at Casa Idalia. Lou was an exceptional host, always ready to listen and full of good recommendations. I loved the warm atmosphere of the hotel, which has been carefully renovated to combine comfort and elegance. The rooms and communal areas are extremely charming. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety of fresh produce. I can't wait to come back in the summer!

You have to stay at this hotel when coming to Comporta. Charlie and Lou are exceptional hosts. They send you a welcome document with lots of useful information before you check in. The breakfasts are beautiful served in such a gorgeous setting. Their attention to detail is incredible and they have thought of everything and more. Very cool and stylish hotel close to the village with numerous restaurants, bars and shops.

We had the pleasure of staying at Casa Idalia and had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful property. The house is stunning, with its bright white architecture and the lovely garden and pool area.
Inside, the home is impeccably decorated in a relaxing coastal style and equipped with every modern convenience you could need. The bedrooms are comfortable and tranquil - we slept so well! We loved starting each day with coffee and the delicious breakfast.
The location is ideal for exploring the Comporta area. We enjoyed seeing the nearby rice fields from a distance, and trying the seafood at the local restaurants.
Lou and Charly were exceptional hosts - friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about their guest house. Their insider tips made our stay that much better.

Our 3rd time staying here. Lovely young couple are your hosts who want to make sure you have a wonderful stay! We will be back again for sure. Comporta is so charming and the beaches are huge. And Casa Idalia Boutique Hotel adds to the overall experience.
